Prior to CMS, Bill was most notably CFO at SmoothFitness, LLC and Controller at WebLinc Commerce. But no matter where Bill is employed, he brings the same attitude of striving for excellence in his various roles and as a leader, taking a collaborative approach and focusing on developing the skills and abilities of the people around him. A driver of operational excellence as well, Bill is known at his various corporate positions as a promoter and practitioner of Kaizen, building a culture of continuous improvement, which has served CMS well over the years Bill has been a part of the company.
Bill earned his degree in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University and maintains that the importance of learning experiences, whether in college or elsewhere, should be part of your philosophy of life. He has been married for 38 wonderful years, has 4 kids, and never misses a chance to get out and try a new restaurant with his wife!
His favorite quote that has stayed with him throughout his life is from Martin Luther King, Jr. “If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.’” With colleagues who consistently endorse Bill as hardworking and full of integrity, he is surely living out the essence of this powerful quote.
